Rakkestad

The comic is a zombie thriller created by renowned Norwegian artist Flu Hartberg and Geir Moen .

A highly contagious epidemic has broken out in Norway, and everyone under the age of 18 has been inoculated at school.  The outbreak initially manifests itself at Rakkestad high-school amongst the teachers, rapidly turning everyone not inoculated into a bloodthirsty zombie.  The pupils must defend themselves against the zombie-teachers using any means necessary.

The real Rakkestad, a small town in inland Norway, is quite isolated from the surroundings.  There are very few trains or busses going in or out, so the location is perfect for a setting like this.  The Rakkestad in the story is a mix of many small towns in Norway, experienced by Hartberg and Moen on their recent tour of high-schools teaching eight-graders about the art of making comics.
